Dikasuna Nature Conservation Inc. has participated in the Pacific Climate Change Migration and Human Security (PCCMHS) Program – Phase II, strengthening its capacity on climate mobility and community resilience.

The training, held for civil society organisations and NGOs, was organised by UN Migration (IOM) with support from the New Zealand International Development Cooperation.

“A heartfelt thank you to UN Migration for the incredible opportunity extended to Dikasuna Nature Conservation Inc. to participate in the Pacific Climate Mobility Training,” MR KAUPA said.

The programme provided civil society groups with tools and knowledge to address the challenges of migration and human security caused by climate change.

“We are also deeply grateful to the New Zealand International Development Cooperation for their invaluable support in making this training possible,” MR KAUPA said.

DNC plans to use the lessons from the training to support communities in Papua New Guinea facing climate-driven risks, ensuring that mobility solutions protect both people and ecosystems.
