Dikasuna Nature Conservation Inc. has attended a Governance and Financial Management Training for Protected Areas, organised under the UNDP GEF6 Project with facilitation from KPMG.

The training, held this week, provided management teams from conservation groups with essential skills in governance, accountability, and financial literacy.

“Dikasuna has been privileged to attend the training over the last couple of days. This much needed training will empower our management team to manage community and financial resources,” MR. KAUPA said.

DNC expressed gratitude to its partners.

“We are thankful to KPMG, UNDP and GEF6 for the timely encouragement, training and support in our conservation activities,” MR. KAUPA said.

The training is part of a wider effort to strengthen community-based conservation in Papua New Guinea, ensuring protected areas are both ecologically sustainable and financially managed.
