Dikasuna Nature Conservation Inc. has taken part in a virtual meeting with the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) and the Kiwa Initiative, strengthening collaboration on regional climate action.

The session brought together partners and project leaders to review progress and discuss priorities under the Kiwa Initiative, which supports locally led climate and biodiversity projects across the Pacific.

“Thank you IUCN and the Kiwa Initiative for the virtual meeting today. We look forward to working in partnership to meet our joint Kiwa Initiative goals,” MR. KAUPA said.

The Project Manager of DNC, Philip Kaupa said the meeting provided opportunities for DNC with Pacific partners to exchange knowledge, build capacity, and align activities on nature-based solutions.

MR. KAUPA confirmed it will continue to participate in Kiwa’s regional network, contributing local experience and lessons from its projects in Simbu Province.

Such collaborations ensure stronger impact and lasting benefits for Pacific lands, oceans, and people.
