Dikasuna Nature Conservation Inc. has made its first official visit to Fiji, joining a Kiwa Initiative workshop hosted by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) in Nadi.

The Kiwa Initiative supports locally led projects across the Pacific that use nature-based solutions to strengthen climate resilience and protect biodiversity.

“We are grateful to the IUCN–Kiwa Initiative for this opportunity to attend this workshop in Nadi, Fiji,” MR KAUPA said.

The training sessions focused on building project capacity in monitoring, financial management, community engagement, and environmental protection.

The visit provided valuable exposure and collaboration opportunities with other Pacific projects, strengthening partnerships for climate action.

The workshop marked an important milestone for DNC, which is among 15 new projects recently welcomed into the Kiwa Initiative.
