Volunteers Celebrate Volunteers Day

Dikasuna Nature Conservation Inc. has celebrated Volunteers Day with hands-on work at key community projects, highlighting the role of local support in conservation and development.

Activities included work on the Dikasuna Honey Farm, maintenance at the Fresh Water Dam for fish farming and hydro electricity, and care for the community’s conservation area.

“We are endlessly grateful to our volunteer community for their dedication, love, and tireless efforts in building a stronger, greener future for us all,” MR KAUPA said.

Volunteers are central to DNC’s mission, contributing labour and skills that strengthen projects ranging from food security to renewable energy and biodiversity protection.

The Honey Farm will support small-scale livelihoods, while the Fresh Water Dam will provide both food and clean energy.

The conservation area continues to be a learning space where community members care for plants and protect local ecosystems.

MR KAUPA described the volunteer movement as a model of grassroots action, proving that “small steps by many people can create lasting impact.”
